Encapsulated with "In The Presence - 5/15/2012" signature graded GEM MT 10 by PSA/DNA (Cert. #83751457). Muhammad Ali has placed a bold, blue marker signature on the obverse of this otherwise unmarked, unused full ticket. On May 25, 1965, Ali knocked out Sonny Liston with a punch that will live forever in the legend and lore of boxing. The sight of Ali standing defiantly over Liston, imploring him to rise and do battle (an act that Liston was not inclined to attempt) will always be associated with the Heavyweight Championship bout represented by this rare admission piece. The $50 face-value ducat – entitling the bearer to a specific seat at St. Dominic’s Arena in Lewiston, Maine – measures 2-1/4” x 5-1/4”. Ali, an International Boxing Hall of Fame enshrinee, passed away in 2016.
