Presented here is a photograph of President Harry S. Truman from 1965 signed by the 33rd President. Presiding over the difficult period after World War II and the death of Franklin Delano Roosevelt, Harry S. Truman served as the 33rd President of the U.S., dating from 1945-53. Truman navigated the United States through the rise of Communism and the Korean War while also aiding in rebuilding postwar Europe. This picture, dated to 1965, shows Truman with a poised visage and is signed and inscribed "To Virgil Cox, kind regards" and the date of "8-26-65" in black ink on the midsection of the black and white photograph. The signature and inscription are bold, and the photograph rests upon a piece of particleboard and shows edging elements. The signed 8 x 10 photograph of President Harry Truman comes with an LOA from Beckett Authentication for the signature.
