Truman navigated the United States through the rise of Communism and the Korean War while also aiding in rebuilding postwar Europe. This picture, dated to 1965, shows Truman with a poised visage and is signed and inscribed "To Virgil Cox, kind regards" and the date of "8-26-65" in black ink on the midsection of the black and white photograph.
