Offered is a signed check by legendary baseball hero Jackie Robinson. The first player to break the color barrier, Robinson was a 1949 NL MVP, a six-time All-Star, and a 1955 World Series Champion. Truly a legend, the MLB universally retired his number “42” in 1997, as well as added a new tradition “Jackie Robinson Day” on April 15th of every season.
This check was made out to “Al’s Restaurant” and was dated “8-23-1966”. Robinson has signed the check on the bottom right. This signed check has been encapsulated by PSA/DNA (83963246) and graded AUTHENTIC and also includes a LOA by Rachel Robinson, the widow of Jackie Robinson.
