Offered here is Johnny Callison’s 1966 Uniform Player’s Contract with the Philadelphia Phillies. The 27-year old Callison was an All-Star in the previous two seasons, and he continued his success at the dish by leading baseball in doubles during the 1966 campaign. Callison, who hit near the top of the Phillies batting order throughout the season, put up a Triple Crown slash of .276/11/55 with 40 doubles and 93 runs. This contract paid Callison the sum of $35,000 for his play, and it has been signed in blue pen by Callison and the Phillies General Manager John Quinn. This contract comes with a PSA/DNA STICKER ONLY (F12515).
