The 1966 Los Angeles Dodgers finished the season with a 96-67 record which was a game-and-a-half better than the San Francisco Giants to win the National League pennant. 1966 was also the last season for Sandy Koufax, who retired at the age of 30. Koufax went out in style as he was the awarded the National League Cy Young award with a 27-9 record and miniscule 1.73 ERA.

This offered Official National League Warren Giles baseball has been signed by 24 members of the 1966 National League champion Los Angeles Dodgers. Hall of Fame manager Walter Alston signed his name on the sweet spot and “1966 – L.A” has been handwritten in red ink” above his signature. Other signatures include Hall of Famers Sandy Koufax, Don Sutton and Don Drysdale; Wes Parker (signed twice), Jim Gilliam, Jim Brewer, Tommy Davis, Wes Covington and others.
