The 1967 Boston Red Sox have been credited for the resurgence of baseball in Boston. For years, the Red Sox were a franchise of futility, having not appeared in the World Series since 1946. Hall of Famer Carl Yastrzemski had an MVP season, winning the AL Triple Crown and the “Impossible Dream” team took the mighty St. Louis Cardinals to seven games of the World Series.
Offered is an Official American League Joseph E. Cronin stamped baseball that has been signed by 27 members of the AL Champion Boston Red Sox. Signatures include Hall of Famer Carl Yastrzemski (on the opposite sweet spot in blue pen) and Hall of Fame manager Dick Williams (clubhouse). Other notable signatures include Tony Conigliaro, Ken Harrelson, Elston Howard, Jose Santiago, Jose Tartabull, Rico Petrocelli, Reggie Smith, Jim Lonborg (clubhouse), Lee Stange, Sparky Lyle, George Thomas, George Scott and Ken Brett. This baseball comes with a LOA from JSA.
