Hall of Fame second baseman Bobby Doerr played his entire 14-year career with the Boston Red Sox. During the “Impossible Dream” season of 1967 when the Red Sox shocked the baseball world by winning the American League pennant, Doerr was on the coaching staff of Hall of Fame manager Dick Williams. Doerr was presented with this Cooperstown Bat Co. “Silver Anniversary of the Impossible Dream” bat that has been signed by 26 members of that memorable Red Sox team. On the barrel is printed in white on a dark green backdrop with the Red Sox logo the members of the 1967 Red Sox. All of the signatures have been signed in blue marker around the barrel and include Bobby Doerr, Rico Petrocelli, Sparky Lyle, Dick Williams, Dave Morehead, George Scott, Jose Tartabull and several others. This bat comes with a LOA from the family of Bobby Doerr and a LOA from JSA (Z82906).
