Lou Brock was the spark plug of those great mid-1960’s St. Louis Cardinals teams. From 1966 to 1974 Lou Brock led the National League in steals except for one season. He also helped the Cards win a pair of World Championships and was voted onto six All-Star teams.
The Hall of Famer ordered this bat during the 1968 season in which he helped St. Louis capture a second consecutive NL pennant. Lou’s Hillerich & Bradsby K75 model bat shows good game use and has a cracked handle. PSA/DNA notes in their LOA, which is provided with this bat, that “The condition of the bat indicates that it has seen post player use…Due to the post player use on the bat, the bat’s use by Brock cannot be confirmed.” The barrel shows many ball marks with bat rack paint streaks. The Hall of Famer has signed the barrel in blue marker adding “1968” and “HOF 1985”. This bat comes with an LOA from PSA/DNA (1B14130) for the game use and a LOA from PSA/DNA (AC01283) for the signature.
