Offered in this lot is a ticket stub from the final MLB game of Mickey Mantle’s legendary career, a 4-3 Yankees road win over the Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park on September 28th, 1968. Mantle recorded one at bat, in the top of the first inning, before being substituted by Andy Kosco in the bottom of the frame. Solo homers in the eighth and ninth innings by Kosco and Joe Pepitone gave the Yankees their winning margin. This ticket stub has been authenticated and encapsulated by PSA (21461790).
