Graded NM 7 by PSA. Hall of Famer, seen in an extremely scarce Rookie Card appearance. This is one of a mere two examples at its tier (with two graded higher) among a total of only nine copies recorded in PSA's census reporting. (Competing grading service SGC has holdered just two, substantially lesser specimens.) This visually captivating and physically delicate Lew Alcindor card – produced for limited distribution in the Italian market – was released a full season before his coveted Topps debut gum card, and several years before the athlete adopted the now-familiar name of Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. As a point of reference on value, a PSA NM-MT 8 example of this card recently traded hands privately for $32,500 in September 2018. An outstanding potential addition to any of the industry's most sophisticated assemblies of basketball collectibles, in elite Near Mint condition.
