Hall of Famer Johnny Bench is widely considered the greatest catcher of all-time. The anchor of the Big Red Machine of the mid-1970’s, Bench could beat you with his bat or his arm. Bench wore Cincinnati Reds cap during the 1969-1974 seasons. This cap displays heavy game use with dirt and sweat stains throughout. This hat is a size 7 ½ New Era with the Reds wishbone “C” logo embroidered in what is now dirt-stained white on the front. The underside of the brim is gray with “7 ½” handwritten in black and “5” written in red. On the inside crown “7 ½” is handwritten in black and “BENCH” is written in red. A terrific early-career gamer from Johnny Bench and it comes with a LOA from MEARS (315372) for the game use.
