Oakland Athletics pitcher George Lauzerique wore this gray A’s button-down road vest during the 1969 MLB season. Lauzerique pitched in 19 games that season, starting eight and finishing with a 3-4 record. This vest has Lauzerique’s number “28” and the A’s logo sewn on the chest in green and yellow tackle twill. Please note that the A’s logo has been restored and the 1969 100th anniversary patch is not present. A second “28” is sewn on the back of the jersey in green and yellow tackle twill. A “1969” year tag, a size “42” tag, and a McAuliffe tag are sewn on the front left tail of this flannel vest. This jersey comes with a LOA from MEARS, who have graded the jersey an A7.
