Then playing as Lew Alcindor, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar had one of the most dominant college careers in NCAA history. His 1969 season for the UCLA Bruins was certainly no exception as Abdul-Jabbar led the Bruins, guided by legendary coach John Wooden, to a 29-1 overall record and the National Championship (with Kareem winning the tournament’s Most Outstanding Player). Abdul-Jabbar also won the regular season Player of the Year Award for 1969, posting averages of 24.0 points and 14.7 rebounds per game, while shooting 63.5% from the field.

Presented here is a 14k gold 1969 Lew Alcindor Look Magazine College All-American ring, featuring a light purple stone sitting on top of textured gold. On either side of the stone are images of three raised stars.  The inside of the band is engraved “LOOK ALL AMERICA BASKETBALL TEAM 1969 LEW ALCINDOR”. Also appearing inside the band is the manufacturer mark and 14K stamp. This ring is an approximate size 12 and weighs approximately 34.5 grams. The item comes directly from Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and a personally hand-signed LOA from Kareem also accompanies this item.
