Offered is a complete run of Games 1 through 5 of ticket stubs from the 1969 World Series, won by the New York Mets over the Baltimore Orioles, as well as a game program for the World Series games played at Shea Stadium in New York. Included in this collection are ticket stubs from Game 1 and Game 2 at Memorial Stadium in Baltimore, Maryland, and ticket stubs from Game 3, Game 4 and Game 5 from Shea Stadium in Flushing, New York. The Baltimore tickets feature an illustration of the “bird holding a bat” logo while the Mets tickets feature an illustration of “Mr. Met” throwing a pitch. The “Official Program and Score Card” for the 1969 World Series games played at Shea Stadium features a four-color Willard Mullin illustration on the front cover responding to his 1962 illustration of a young Mets player wearing a “62” jersey held by a large Mets player wearing a “69” jersey, with the caption, “Remember me?”. The 56-page program (including cover) has color cover pages and color centerspread featuring the 1969 New York Mets team photo, with two-color (orange and blue) printing on the white interior. The scorecard is inscribed in gray graphite pencil with the lineups and scoring for Game 5 of the 1969 World Series, the championship clincher won by the Mets, 5-3.
