Hall of Famer Frank Robinson is still the only player in baseball history to win an MVP Award in both the American and National Leagues. Robinson used this bat during the Baltimore Orioles 1970-1972 dynasty years in which they won two pennants and one World Championship. Robinson used this bat to add to his career tally of 586 home runs and a .294 batting average. PSA/DNA has determined that the H&B factory records show that bats ordered by Robinson were 35 to 36 inches in length and 34 to 35 ounces in weight. This example is 34 1/2” in length and weights 34.4 ounces. PSA/DNA has opined that the bat was “cut a bit short by error and was shipped to Robinson”. The Hillerich & Bradsby R161 model bat shows excellent use and is un-cracked. This bat comes with a full LOA from PSA/DNA (1B10884) for the game use.
