Under legendary manager Earl Weaver, the 1970 Baltimore Orioles are considered to be one of the true powerhouse teams in baseball history.  They won the AL East with a whopping 108 victories during the regular season. Three starting pitchers (Dave McNally, Mike Cuellar and Jim Palmer) all won at least 20 games, with McNally and Cuellar leading the way with 24 wins apiece. Offensively, Boog Powell led the team with 35 home runs and 114 runs batted in. Frank Robinson batted .306 and Brooks Robinson hit .276 with 94 RBIs. The Orioles made quick work in the postseason, losing only one game overall on their way to a World Series title (by defeating the Cincinnati Reds in five games). Brooks Robinson was awarded the World Series MVP for his play in the Series.

Offered here is a 10K gold 1970 Brooks Robinson Baltimore Orioles World Series salesman sample ring, which features a round CZ set on an image of Baltimore Memorial Stadium. “Orioles” reads under the CZ, while “BALTIMORE ORIOLES WORLD CHAMPIONS” is displayed around the outer perimeter. One side of the ring features an enamel-filled Orioles hat, the year “1970”, the name “B. ROBINSON” and his number “5”, and an image of a ball and glove. The opposite side displays an image of the American League logo, highlighted in enamel, with the baseball listing Orioles pennant-winning seasons. Inside the band of this approximate size 12 ring is marked “JENKINS 10K”. This item weighs approximately 36.1 grams.
