Hank Aaron collected the 3,000th hit of his Hall of Fame career on May 17th, 1970, during a Braves game at Crosley Field. Aaron’s hit came in the first frame of this 15-inning marathon, with the future Hall of Famer notching an RBI single off Wayne Simpson for hit number 3,000. Aaron finished this game, a 7-6 Reds win, 3-5 with three RBI and two runs scored. Aaron homered off Simpson in the third inning for his 570th career blast. This offered ticket stub has “Hank Aaron Hit 3,000 Hit” written on the top of the ticket in black marker. The ticket has been encapsulated and graded a Good 2(MK) by PSA (19395804).
