After 10 years with the Phillies, Johnny Callison moved west to Chicago in 1970 and manned right field for the Cubs. The 4-time All-Star hit .264 with 19 home runs. Callison’s 1970 Adirondack 259A model bat how’s outstanding use with a handle crack. Callison’s number “6” is hand written on the knob and “Yosh” marks can be seen on the knob and front barrel. “Yosh” marks are what collectors have termed the small notations made on game bats by the Cubs equipment manager Yosh Kawano during the 1960’s and 1970’s. The bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B14179) for the game use.
