With legendary manager Earl Weaver at the helm, the Orioles then cruised through the playoffs, sweeping the Minnesota Twins in the ALCS before defeating the mighty Cincinnati Reds, four games to one, to win the World Series.

22 members of the 1970 World Series Champion Baltimore Orioles have signed this Official American League Joseph E. Cronin baseball. Hall of Fame manager Earl Weaver signed his name on the sweet spot, along with Billy Hunter. Other signatures include Hall of Famer Frank Robinson, who signed his name on the stamped sweet spot, Hall of Famer Jim Palmer, George Bamberger, Terry Crowley, Davey Johnson, Grant Jackson, Paul Blair, Bob Grich, George Staller, Dick Hall, Curt Motton, Clay Dalrymple, Mark Belanger, Don Baylor, Jim Frey and others.
