Hall of Famer Rick Barry, who played in both the NBA and ABA, led the Golden State Warriors to the NBA title in 1975 where he still holds the record for highest scoring average for a Finals’ series (36.3) and won his ABA title with the Oakland Oaks in 1969. Barry also holds the distinction of being the only player in history to lead the NCAA, ABA and NBA in scoring. While in the NBA, Barry was an eight-time all-star, an NBA All-First Team selection five times and was selected for the NBA’s 50th Anniversary All-Time Team.

Offered here is one of the Golden State Warriors’ jerseys issued to Barry in the 1970’s. This yellow/gold Durene-material jersey has “GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS” and the team logo printed on the front in blue, with Barry’s number “24” sewn on in blue tackle twill in the middle of the logo. A Wilson size 44 tag, along with a white flag that has “4 “X-Long” handwritten in faded black marker is on the front left. The back of this jersey has “BARRY” and “24” sewn on in blue tackle twill, while the rounded collar and open sleeves are bordered with blue and white knit material stripes. This jersey does not display game use and comes with a LOA from MEARS (317914) for the game issued and have graded this jersey an A5.
