A great stick from the 1971-1973 period that saw Bobby Murcer emerge as the newest generation of Yankee sluggers. Though the Yankees were going through some lean years during the early 1970’s, Bobby Murcer’s bat, thrilling base running and flawless fielding gave the Bronx fans something to cheer about. The Adirondack 304A model bat shows outstanding use with a handle crack and slight checking from repeated ball contact. The barrel displays several ball marks and stitch impressions on the left barrel along with cleat imprints. A heavy coat of pine tar is on the upper and lower handle and the model number “304A” is stamped into the knob. Murcer’s number “1” is hand written on the knob in black marker. The bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B05611) for the game use.
