Oakland Athletics catcher Dave Duncan wore this gray flannel road vest during the 1971 MLB season, his lone All-Star campaign. Duncan hit 15 homers with 40 RBI and a .253 batting average for Oakland in 1971. This button-down vest has Duncan’s number “10” and the A’s logo sewn on the chest in green and yellow tackle twill. “DUNCAN” and a second “10” are sewn on the back of the jersey in green and yellow tackle twill. Please note that Duncan’s name has been restored, and the armpits and front number “10” exhibit light fraying. A “1971” year tag, a size “46” tag, and a McAuliffe tag are sewn on the front left tail of this jersey. This jersey comes with a LOA from MEARS, who have graded the vest an excellent A8.
