Gene Tenace wore this gray Oakland Athletics road vest during the 1971 MLB season. Tenace played in 65 games in 1971, hitting seven homers with 25 RBI and a healthy .274 batting average. This jersey has “A’s” and Tenace’s number “38” sewn on the chest in green and gold tackle twill. “TENACE” is sewn across the back in green tackle twill. A second “38” is sewn on the back in green and gold tackle twill. McAuliffe, “71”, and size “44” tags are sewn on the front left tail. Tenace has signed the “3” digit on the back of the jersey in black marker. This jersey comes with a tag from MEARS and a COA from JSA (V16319) for the signature.
