As one-half of the most successful songwriting team in history and the de facto leader of the greatest band of all-time, it is impossible to understate John Lennon’s impact on the world of music. His time with The Beatles, during which he cultivated his songwriting collaboration with band mate Paul McCartney, produced some of the most iconic rock and roll music of the 20th Century. To this day, the Beatles remain the most commercially successful band in popular music. Offered here is a National Westminster Bank Limited cancelled check drawn on the account of “MACLEN (MUSIC) LTD”. The check is made out to “Granada T.V. Rentals Ltd.” In the amount of £32 and 25P, and is dated 23rd Feb 1971. John Lennon has signed the check in the bottom right corner in black ink. Check does exhibit some staple holes and signs of aging, but displays beautifully. Item has been encapsulated by PSA/DNA, and a LOA from Beatles expert Frank Caiazzo.
