Cards from the 1971 Topps set are tough enough to find nice enough to receive a mint grade but finding their O-Pee-Chee counterparts in mint condition is next to impossible. This 1971 O-Pee-Chee Pete Rose is just such a rare find. O-Pee-Chee cards were made from a different paper stock and cut in what appears to be a cruder method; combine those aspects with the "full-bleed" black borders from 1971 and even in the rare instances cards are pulled straight out of the pack from this issue and you'll be lucky to find a near mint card. This Pete Rose card is very well-centered, has pristine corners, and immaculate print quality. This is truly a rare find in this condition, in fact this is the only 1971 O-Pee-Chee Pete Rose to receive any mint grade from SGC with no examples graded above NM-MT 8 from PSA.
