The Quebec Carnavals were a AA baseball team active in Quebec City from 1971 to 1977 as a farm team for the Montreal Expos. Known as the Quebec Metros in 1976 and 1977, the Carnavals were managed by a handful of former Major League players, including Gus Niarhos and Doc Edwards. Numerous future MLB players appeared on the Carnavals, including the Hall of Fame catcher Gary Carter, who played 130 games with the Carnavals in 1973.

This uniform was used circa 1972-73. It is a toned white home pullover jersey with the number “3” sewn on the chest and back in blue tackle twill. A Carnavals logo featuring chenille stitching is sewn on the left chest. The sleeves and collars are accented with a red, white, and blue band. A Rawlings size “40” tag is sewn on the front right tail of the jersey. The jersey shows moderate wear. Also included in this lot are a pair of circa 1972-73 toned white Carnavals home pants. The pants have a red, white, and blue band around the waist and running down each leg. Rawlings size “34” and “25 Inseam” tags are sewn on the inside of the pants. A “Set 1 #8P 1973” flag is attached to the inseam tag. Numerous numbers have been written in the pants in black marker and subsequently crossed out due to the pants being recycled among various players. This lot comes with a LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema.
