Presented here is an “ALL*STAR” stamped baseball signed by 22 members of the 1972 New York Yankees. The Yankees finished in fourth place in the six-team American League East in 1972, putting together a record of 79-76 under the steady hand of manager Ralph Houk. All of the signatures on this ball have been signed in blue pen, with most of them showing slight bleeding. Thurman Munson’s signature is on the side panel, with other signatures that include Mel Stottlemyre, Fritz Peterson, Wade Blasingame, Steve Kline, Felipe Alou, Horace Clark, Fred Beene, Gene Michael, George Medich, Bernie Allen, Lindy McDaniel, John Callison, Ron Swoboda, Jerry Kenney and others. This comes with a LOA from JSA for the signatures. Please note that JSA has deemed the signatures of Bobby Murcer, Ron Blomberg, John Ellis and Mike Kekich clubhouse versions.
