For almost a decade and a half, Roy White was the New York Yankees switch-hitting left fielder. Often overshadowed by the bigger personalities in the clubhouse like Reggie Jackson and Thurman Munson, White was the team’s quiet anchor, coming through in the clutch and patrolling his patch of outfield grass like he owned it. White used this offered bat during the 1972 season when he led the American League in walks and batted .270 for the Bronx Bombers. This Hillerich & Bradsby G105 model bat shows excellent use with a handle crack secured with adhesive tape. The barrel has several ball marks and cleat imprints along with abrasions from contact with other equipment. White’s number “6” is hand written on the knob and barrel end in faded black marker. The bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B16105) for the game use and has been graded a solid GU 8.
