Graig Nettles’ arrival in New York in 1973 marked the beginning of the resurgence of the New York Yankees. From 1973 to 1975 the third baseman pounded out 65 home runs as the Bronx Bombers began their climb back into the first division. The next year would see the Yankees winning the pennant for the first time since 1964 and Nettles would lead the league in home runs. Used during the 1973-75 seasons, the Hillerich & Bradsby S44 model bat shows outstanding game use with a handle crack. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B17111) for the game use and has been graded a near-perfect GU 9 and a Tristar hologram (6152091) for the signature.
