Matty Alou was winding down the American League portion of his career when he was swinging this Louisville Slugger. Alou spent 1973 with both the Cardinals and Yankees before moving to San Diego in 1974. Matty then played the 1975 and 1976 seasons with the Taiheiyo Club Lions in Japan. This 1973-1975 era Hillerich & Bradsby M142 model bat is un-cracked and shows evidence of light use and there are blue bat rack paint streaks on the barrel.
