Atlanta Braves star outfielder Dusty Baker wore this white Braves pullover home jersey during the 1973 MLB season. Baker had a terrific year in 1973, hitting .288 with 21 homers and a career-best 99 RBI. Baker added 24 steals and 101 runs scored, both numbers good for the best of his career. After his playing career wrapped up, Baker became a highly successful manager, winning over 1,800 games in his 22-year managerial career.
This jersey is white, with blue sleeves and shoulders. “Braves” and Baker’s number “12” are sewn on the chest of the jersey in blue, white, and red tackle twill. The tackle twill shows some wear and fading but still presents beautifully. A second “12” is sewn on the back of the jersey in blue, white, and red tackle twill. A feather logo patch is sewn on each sleeve in blue, red, and white tackle twill. A Wilson size “44” tag is sewn on the back inside collar while a “73” year tag is sewn on the front left tail. There is a very small hole on the center of the front tail. This jersey comes with a LOA from MEARS, who have graded it a near-perfect A9.
