The 1973 Miami Dolphins were led by the ground attack of Larry Csonka (1,003 rushing yards) and Mercury Morris (954 yards), as well as the number one ranked defense in the NFL (a stingy 10.7 points allowed per game), in finishing the regular season with a record of 12-2. After victories over the Cincinnati Bengals and Oakland Raiders, Miami defeated the Minnesota Vikings, 24-7, to win Super Bowl VIII. This gave the Dolphins back-to-back titles, as they beat the Washington Redskins in Super Bowl VII as part of their undefeated 1972 season.

Offered here is a 10K gold 1973 Miami Dolphins Super Bowl VIII championship ladies salesman sample ring, manufactured by Jostens. A large round CZ is set on a turquoise colored stone, with “MIAMI DOLPHINS 72 73 WORLD CHAMPIONS” reading in relief work around the bezel setting. Each side of the ring displays a Dolphins team logo. The inside of the band is marked “©JOSTENS 10K” and also includes an item number. This ring is an approximate size 7 and weighs approximately 7.6 grams.
