Presented here is a baseball signed by 24 members of the 1973 New York Yankees. While this iteration of the Yankees did not experience the expected success that comes with donning the pinstripes, this ball is still an exceedingly special item. It features the autograph of Yankees catcher Thurman Munson, the tragic victim of an aviation accident.

     This Reach Official American League Joseph E. Cronin baseball features the signatures of three players on the sweet spot of the baseball, including Mel Stottlemyre and Fritz Peterson. Other players who signed this ball include Munson, manager Ralph Houk, coach Elston Howard, Ron Blomberg, Graig Nettles, Lindy McDaniel, George “Doc” Medich, Jim Magnuson, Sparky Lyle, Matty Alou, Felipe Alou, and many more. The signatures are written in finely aged black pen. This baseball comes with a LOA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication (A03083).
