Presented is a collection of 10 Major League Baseball, National Football League and NCAA College Baseball World Series ticket stubs from the period 1974 through 2009. The first ticket stub in this collection is from April 4, 1974 at Riverfront Stadium in Cincinnati, Ohio, when the Atlanta Braves slugger Hank Aaron tied Babe Ruth’s career home run record. Aaron hit career homer #714 on Opening Day in Cincinnati, in his first at bat of the 1974 season. It came off Reds pitcher Jack Billingham with two men on, one out, and Aaron hit it out to left center field. This ticket stub has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA (11810994) and is graded EX-5.

The second ticket stub in this collection is from Atlanta-Fulton County Stadium and the game of April 8, 1974 in which Atlanta Braves outfielder Hank Aaron hit his 715th career home run, breaking the record held for almost 40 years by legendary New York Yankees slugger Babe Ruth. The Braves were trailing the Los Angeles Dodgers 3-1 in the bottom of the fourth when Aaron hit a 1-0 pitch from Al Downing over the left-centerfield wall to tie the game – and surpass Ruth. This ticket stub has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA (11810998) and graded VG-EX 4.

The third ticket in this collection is a full ticket from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers NFL pre-season game against the Miami Dolphins on August 21, 1976. This was the first NFL game played at Tampa Stadium, won by the Dolphins 28-21. The 1976 season was the first for the Buccaneers, who gained infamy as the first team to play an entire 14-game season without winning or tying a single game (including five games where they never even scored). This full ticket has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA (31185534) and graded NM 7.

The fourth ticket stub in this collection is from Boston’s Fenway Park and the September 12, 1979 game against the New York Yankees. In that game, future Hall of Fame leftfielder Carl Yastrzemski collected his 3,000th career hit in a 9-2 Red Sox win. “Yaz” hit a single to right off Yankees pitcher Jim Beattie in the bottom of the eighth inning with two out and no one on. He also achieved another milestone that day, becoming the first American League player with 3,000 career hits and 400 home runs. He retired at the end of the 1983 season with 3,419 hits and 452 home runs, playing all 23 seasons for the Red Sox. He was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1989. This ticket stub has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA (31185580) and graded EX 5.

The fifth ticket stub in this collection is from Hall of Fame pitcher Tom Seaver’s 300th career win, August 4, 1985 at Yankee Stadium. Seaver guided the Chicago White Sox to a 4-1 win over the Yankees that day, pitching a complete game, allowing only six hits and striking out seven. Seaver pitched from 1967 to 1986 for the New York Mets, Cincinnati Reds, Chicago White Sox, and Boston Red Sox. During a 20-year MLB career, Seaver compiled 311 wins, 3,640 strikeouts, 61 shutouts and a 2.86 earned run average. In 1992, Seaver was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame by the highest percentage of votes ever recorded at the time. This ticket stub has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA (40525738) and graded NM 7.

The sixth ticket stub in this collection is from September 20, 1998, when Cal Ripken, Jr. sat out for the first time, ending his streak of consecutive games played at 2,632.  That day, before the final home game of the season against the Yankees, Ripken decided to end his streak at 2,632 games, having surpassed Gehrig's previous record by 502 games. Rookie third baseman Ryan Minor started in his place, at first thinking it was a rookie prank. Realizing that the streak was coming to an end, the fans, his teammates, and the visiting Yankees (with David Wells being the first to notice that Ripken was not playing during batting practice) gave Ripken an ovation after the game's first out was recorded. This ticket stub has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA (11810993) and graded VG-EX 4.

The seventh ticket in this collection is a full ticket from Game 1 of the 1998 World Series, played on October 17, 1998 at Yankee Stadium.  The Yankees won, 9-6 over the San Diego Padres, behind the pitching of David Wells and home runs by Chuck Knoblauch and Tino Martinez. New York swept the Series in four games to win their second World Series championship in three years and their 24th overall. Yankees third baseman Scott Brosius was named the World Series Most Valuable Player. This ticket has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA (11854728) and graded GEM MT 10.

The eighth ticket in this collection is a full ticket from the Game 3 of the 1999 World Series, the Atlanta Braves vs. the New York Yankees, played October 26, 1999 at Yankee Stadium. Game 3 in New York matched up lefties Andy Pettitte and Tom Glavine, and Pettitte was rocked early. Bret Boone drove in Gerald Williams with an RBI double in the first. The Yankees tied the game in bottom of the inning on Paul O'Neill's RBI single, but in the third, Brian Jordan had an RBI single scoring Boone, and Jose Hernandez doubled in Jordan and Andruw Jones. In the fourth, Bret Boone doubled in Gerald Williams for a second time in the game to make the score 5–1. Glavine was sharp but gave up homers to Tino Martinez in the fifth and Chad Curtis, trimming the Braves lead to 5–3. The Yankees bullpen was solid, holding the Braves scoreless after Pettitte left the game. In the eighth, Glavine surrendered a two-run homer to Knoblauch to tie up the game at 5–5. Glavine would be replaced by John Rocker who shut out the Yankees until he was relieved after the ninth. The score remained knotted until the bottom of the tenth when Chad Curtis blasted a walk-off home run-his second home run of the game-off Mike Remlinger, giving the Yankees a commanding 3–0 lead in the Series. The Yankees swept the Series in four games for their second consecutive title, third in four years, and 25th overall. Yankees closer Mariano Rivera was named the World Series Most Valuable Player. This ticket has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA (11565095) and graded GEM MT 10.

The ninth ticket in this collection is a full ticket from the 2009 NCAA College World Series Game 3, played on June 24, 2009 at historic Rosenblatt Stadium in Omaha, Nebraska. Louisiana State beat Texas, 11-4 to win their sixth College World Series title. This ticket has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA (16755850) and graded VG-EX 4.
