Oakland Athletics outfielder Angel Mangual wore this green A’s alternate pullover jersey during the 1974 MLB season, the year of the A’s third consecutive World Series title. Mangual played in 115 games in 1974, setting career highs in homers (9), RBI (43), and hits (85) in 365 at-bats. This jersey has “A’s” sewn on the left chest in white and gold tackle twill. Mangual’s number “2” is sewn on the back of the jersey in white and gold tackle twill. “MANGUAL” is sewn across the back shoulders in white tackle twill that has been nicely restored. A team repair is present on the collar. “1974”, McAuliffe, size “40”, and a faded washing instructions tag are sewn on the front inside tail of this jersey. This jersey shows light to moderate wear and comes with a LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema.
