This is a full-sized, limited edition keepsake commemorating the 1974 Baseball Hall of Fame inductees. The venue's logo has been engraved between the centerbrand and barrel stampings, and the deep-brown Louisville Slugger bat bears the facsimile signatures or block-letter names of the 1974 inductees. The barrel stamping reads in full, "National Baseball - Hall of Fame - August 12, 1974 - Limited Edition - 267 of 500." Facsimile signatures and block-letter names identifying that day's enshrinees include: Samuel L. Thompson, Mickey Mantle, Jim Bottomley, "Jocko" Conlan, Whitey Ford and "Cool Papa" Bell. The bat radiates a virtually uncirculated appearance.
