In 1975, his first season with the A’s, Williams became the team’s best designated hitter, helping to carry the A’s into the post season. Williams’ 1975 Hillerich And Bradsby S2 model bat displays good game use. There are several ball marks visible on the barrel along with bat rack paint streaks and cleat imprints. Williams’ number “28” is handwritten on the knob and the Hall of Famer has signed the barrel twice in black marker. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B13990) for the game use and has been graded a solid GU 8 and a LOA from JSA for the signature.
