Nolan Ryan threw the fourth no-hitter of his legendary career on June 1st, 1975 for the California Angels against the Baltimore Orioles. With his fourth (of seven) no-hitter, Ryan tied the venerated Sandy Koufax for the most no-hitters thrown by any pitcher in baseball history. Ryan’s Angels won the June 1st game by a slim 1-0 margin at Anaheim Stadium as the native Texan struck out nine Orioles batters in a vintage performance.
