In his final game, the AFC Championship game against the Pittsburgh Steelers on January 6th, 1976, Blanda nailed a 41-yard field goal during the Raiders 16-10 loss at Three Rivers Stadium. Blanda set numerous NFL records, including most career points at the time of his retirement and oldest player to play in an NFL game. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1981.
