Oakland Athletics catcher Larry Haney wore this green pullover A’s alternate jersey during the 1975 MLB season. Haney appeared in 46 games in 1975, helping the A’s achieve a 98-win season and the American League West Division title. This green jersey has “A’s” sewn on the left chest in white and gold tackle twill. “HANEY” has been sewn across the back shoulders in white tackle twill. Please note that the name on the jersey was changed due to use in the minor leagues, and then reverted back to “HANEY” at a later date. Haney’s number “12” is sewn on the back of the jersey in white and gold tackle twill. The “12” has been reinforced but is still original. The back shoulders display several miniscule tears, as well as team repairs. “1975”, McAuliffe, size “44”, and washing instructions tags are sewn on the front tail of the jersey. This jersey shows moderate to heavy wear and is accompanied by a LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema.
