Catfish Hunter and Dock Ellis each added 17 wins. New York defeated the Kansas City Royals 3-2 to win the American League Championship Series before falling to the Cincinnati Reds in the World Series.

Also included are the signatures of Thurman Munson, Roy White, Dick Howser, Doyle Alexander, Chris Chambliss, Oscar Gamble, Jim York, Graig Nettles, Carlos May, Fred Stanley, Elrod Hendricks and others. This ball is in excellent condition, displaying only slight toning with the stampings bold and the signatures clear. “1976 A.L. CHAMPS” has been handwritten blue pen in an unknown hand on the north panel. This ball comes with a LOA from JSA (Z80812).
