Spectacular Hillerich & Bradsby model C284 bat from Chris Chambliss’ All-Star 1976 season. New York’s first baseman had a stellar season as he batted .293 with 17 homers for the pennant-bound Yankees. This special Bicentennial Louisville Slugger carries the “1776-1976 National Pastime” Liberty Bell logo on the barrel between the H&B brand mark and the embossed Chris Chambliss signature. The flame burned ash bat is 35” and 32.8 oz. and bears many ball marks and stitch impressions on all sides of the barrel. Bat racks from all across the American League have left black, blue and red streaks on this great piece of wood from that memorable 1976 season. Chambliss’ number 10 has been written in black marker on the knob. Graded PSA/DNA GU 9. PSA/DNA LOA. Multiple images and LOAs available at goldinauctions.com.
