This blue Yankee Stadium seatback has been signed by 10 members of the 1977-78 New York Yankees back-to-back World Series Champions teams. The signatures on this blue seatback include the Hall of Famers Reggie Jackson and Goose Gossage, as well as Bucky Dent, Graig Nettles, Mickey Rivers, Chris Chambliss, Paul Blair, Sparky Lyle, Roy White, and Ron Guidry. Each player added an inscription, with Gossage writing “78 WS Champs”, Jackson writing “WS MVP 77”, Nettles writing “77-78 Gold Glove”, Rivers writing “77 + 78 WS Champs”, Chambliss writing “76 ALCS GW HR”, Lyle writing “Cy 77”, and Dent writing “78 NL MVP”. Guidry inscribed “Cy Young 78”, White inscribed “78 WS NYY 4 LA 2” and Blair wrote “77 W.S. N.Y.Y. 4 LA 2”. The signatures on this seatback have been written in blue marker. A plaque bearing the seat number “22” is attached to this seatback. The seatback comes with a COA from Steiner Sports.
