Regarded by opposing pitchers as the most intimidating hitter in the National League, Willie McCovey is a member of the exclusive 500 HR Club. The switch-hitting Hall of Famer used this bat during his second stint in San Francisco during the 1977 through 1979 seasons. This Hillerich & Bradsby M110L model bat is un-cracked and shows evidence of excellent use. Several ball marks are visible on the left, right and back barrel and a moderate coat of pine tar still clings to the lower and upper handle. McCovey’s number “44” is hand written on the knob end in black marker. This bat comes with an LOA from PSA/DNA (D63177) for the game use, along with a hologram from Mears (303604), who have graded this bat a solid A 8.5.
