Despite being labeled as the “Bronx Zoo” with flamboyant owner George Steinbrenner and fiery manager Billy Martin, the New York Yankees of the mid-to-late 1970s found a way to win titles. 26 members of the back-to-back World Series winning teams of 1977 and 1978 reunited to sign this Official Major League Allan H. Selig baseball. Hall of Famer Reggie Jackson signed his name in bold blue pen across the sweet spot, while fellow Hall of Famer Goose Gossage signed his name on one of the side panels. All of the signatures have been signed in blue pen and include Chris Chambliss, Sparky Lyle, Lou Piniella, Mickey Rivers, Ron Guidry, Graig Nettles, Ed Figueroa and several others. This multi-signed baseball comes with a full LOA from PSA/DNA (AC04552).
