Tommy Lasorda ushered in a new era in Dodgers baseball when he took the helm of the team and promptly took them to the World Series. Key to Lasorda’s success was Manny Mota, whose pinch-hitting helped the club win key games as they battled for the NL pennant. This is one of Mota’s game used bats from the 1977 pennant-winning season. This Adirondack 257B model bat is un-cracked and displays moderate use. Mota’s number “11” is hand written on the knob in black ink. Several members of the 1977 National League Champion Dodgers including Steve Garvey and Charlie Hough have signed the barrel in black and blue ink. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B15749) for the game use and has been graded a solid GU 8.5 and a LOA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication (A14763) for signatures.
