Offered in this lot is a 1977 Marvel Comics “Star Wars” #1 issue graded a CGC NM/MT 9.8 with white pages. This iconic comic features a story from Roy Thomas and art from Howard Chaykin, with Chaykin and Tom Palmer contributing the cover art. This is part one of the New Hope movie adaptation. Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, the protocol droid C-3PO and astromech droid R2-D2 make their appearances in this coveted high-grade 1st issue in the classic Star Wars series. Please note that there is a large crack on the back of the CGC holder.
