1977 saw the beginning of a new era in Dodger baseball as Hall of Famer Tommy Lasorda took over for long-time manager Walter Alston. Lasorda took the reins and led the Dodgers to a 98-64 record, finishing 10 games ahead of the two-time defending champion Cincinnati Reds and knocked off the Philadelphia Phillies in four games (3-1) to win the National League pennant.

This offered Official National League Charles S. Feeney stamped baseball has been signed by 17 members of the 1977 National League champion Los Angeles Dodgers. Hall of Famer Don Sutton has signed this ball. Other signatures include Steve Garvey, Red Adams, Rick Rhoden, Jim Gilliam, Doug Rau, Elias Sosa, Steve Yeager, Ron Cey and others. A clubhouse signature of Hall of Famer and manager Tommy Lasorda is on the sweet spot. This multi-signed baseball comes with a LOA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication.
