“Mr. Clean” Steve Garvey was the Los Angeles Dodgers first baseman through their great dynasty years of 1974 through 1981. In that period, Garvey made eight all-star teams, won four Gold Gloves, a World Championship and was the National League’s Most Valuable Player. This offered home white Dodgers jersey was issued to Garvey during the 1978 and 1979 seasons where he averaged 25 home runs, a 112 RBI and a solid .315 average. This size 44 button-down jersey was manufactured by W.A. Goodman & Sons of Los Angeles and features “Dodgers” and a paraph sewn on the front in blue tackle twill. Garvey’s number “6” is sewn on the left center chest in red tackle twill. The back of the jersey has “GARVEY” and “6” sewn directly on the jersey in blue tackle twill. The Goodman tag is sewn on the inside back collar. This jersey displays minor toning giving it a cream-colored look and comes with a LOA from Sports Investors Authentication (190924C10).
