The Hall of Fame second baseman Rod Carew wore this blue California Angels dugout jacket during the 1979-83 period. Carew, who played for the Angels from 1979 through his retirement in 1985, made the American League All-Star team in every season from 1967 through 1984, winning seven batting titles and the 1977 AL MVP trophy. The sharp-eyed Carew hit .324 from 1979 through 1983, with 115 doubles and 212 RBI. Carew was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1991 on his first appearance on the ballot.
